Corporate governance requires an awareness of “All Things Financial”.
Company directors and committee members of not-for-profits and charities, together with officers in all types of organisations need to have an awareness of a wide range of financial matters.
In making this statement I do not mean that directors and committee members need to know how to prepare financial reports, but it is very important that directors and committee members can read and understand the information contained within the various types of financial reports.
In the Corporate Governance Network, which commences on 9th May 2018, we will be discussing “all things financial” in each of the 6 webinar workshops. This will mean that, over a year, we will cover all of the key financial reports that a company director or committee member of a not-for-profit or charity might encounter in performing his/her duties.
